ABOUT ME

I am a 23-year-old girl from Barcelona. I am working in Berwick Primary School as an Spanish assistant. I'll be in Melbourne until December, but I want to travel a lot since I do not have much time to see this huge country! I am willing to meet new people, even though I am really shy at first. I speak Catalan, Spanish and English. I can more of less speak Italian.

PHILOSOPHY

My preference number one in life is travelling. I wanna see everything before I am too old.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I normally don't host people in Melbourne because I live with a lady and her 5-year-old child which makes it difficult to have people there. However, when I couch surf I try to help as much as I can and not be a burden. I try to adapt my plans to the other person's ones so s/he doesn't have to change them.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been couch surfing for almost a year now and it has been amazing. I have met so many interesting people. They all have been very kind to me and I am very thankful to all of them. I do not expect much about the host because I know that they have their own lives and jobs and that they are normally quite busy. I am not looking for a guide, I am just looking forward to meeting new people while I travel on my own and sharing travelling experiences.

In my free time I love reading, listening to music and walk around Melbourne and discover new places. I am always willing to try new things.

Some of my favorite movies are Inception, 500 days of Summer, the Lord of the Rings and Moulin Rouge.
I love F.R.I.E.N.D.S. and New girl among other TV series.
I don't have a favorite books because I never stop reading, but I loved the Hunger Games even though I didn't like the ending.

Australia has helped me overcome my fear of water (and spiders). I would have never imagined myself surfing or scuba diving. I was very scared the first time I tried but the experience was amazing!
