I'm a third culture kid. Belgrade born, London raised. Usually travelling.

I love exploring the world and experiencing different cultures but I have not come close to visiting enough. Is there ever really a right time to stop exploring? Probably not.

My fascination with travel always existed in some form but really took off with a trip to Morocco at 19. Ever since, my appetite for travel has become hard to contain.

Recently, I spent some time in Italy striving to learn the language, getting to know the people and immersing myself in all things Italian!

A bit before that I travelled around Asia which offered many amazing opportunities and a window into a completely different way of life.

I enjoy spontaneous trips as much as planned and any bus/train/car/ferry/plane to another destination will do ;)

I would like to learn more languages. At the moment I have taken this task up with Hungarian.

I like (wild)cats and elephants (",)
I write postcards (snail mail still works!)
I also like stamps and foreign currency :'D
Ice cream and popcorn, together or separate is fine :P

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I was introduced to CS by a friend and thought I would give it a go. So far the experience overall has been very positive. It is a fun way of travelling and getting to know people.

I've attended quite a few CS events in various countries, always with great atmosphere and interesting people from all walks of life.

When I am not travelling, I love hosting and the cultural exchange it offers.

兴趣

I enjoy hiking and long walks. I try to go on a few trips every year, they're not often for long but I do as much as I can. Most recently I completed the Camino de Santiago in Spain and the Wicklow Way in Ireland.

I've always loved reading and am happy to read most genres really.

I love going to the theatre. I enjoy watching dramas, comedies, musicals, plays....
My favourite productions include Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Les Miserables, Kinky Boots and Angela's Ashes.

I dabble in history, philosophy and politics. Sometimes there's even room for hearing out conspiracy theories!

Pole sport and aerial hoop have become a big part of my life and there are no adequate words to describe the sensation of working hard to achieve something that first appeared impossible.

I like landscape photography but I can't say I'm that good at it at the moment (currently looking into improving this). Photography tips are more than welcome!
