About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Mission: To see how many times I can be proven wrong.

ABOUT ME

I'm pretty laid back but I know how to have a good time too :)Im a hair stylist so I meet new people everyday! Thank goodness I love meeting new people, and love seeing new places. I've done a little bit of traveling but I'm looking to do A LOT more!

PHILOSOPHY

I recently figured out that more than just being a hairstylist, I think my actual calling to make people feel good. Not in a 'martyr myself' way. But in a "Little things don't mean anything.. They mean EVERYTHING" sort of way. And because of that I feel good too :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm always down for a good haircut!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I don't have much experience but I'm excited to start participating!!

Interests

Traveling is without saying :)

I also am a big nerd about hair. Anything dealing with hair I go head first into. Its probably one of my biggest passions. Theres just so many things you can do with it!! Lol

I love music as well. Mostly into rock but I have a few guilty pleasures.

  • traveling
  • music
  • camping

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Edward Scissorhands (Duh... A story of a misunderstood hairstylist!) And really any Tim Burton movie. SLC Punk, Imaginary Heroes, Into The Wild.

Music: Top 6: Brand New, The Used, Taking Back Sunday, Fall Out Boy (Don't judge, its out of sentimental value)Coheed & Cambria, Death Cab For Cutie, and of course Insomnia Bard :)

Books: Into The Wild, Hairstyles Of The Damned, annnd ANY David Sedaris book :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Probably the coolest thing I've ever experienced was successfully stalking, meeting, and then eating dinner with a band that made my teenage years more bearable :)

I went to National Rainbow Gathering last year in Washington and the whole time I was in Awestruck Mode

And the last one is probably camping right next to waterfalls in Colorado. That pretty much made my life. Lol.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well if you need any hair advice, I can probably help you.

... Annnd anything to do with duct tape. I have a VERY wide range of skills with duct tape. I've made anything from a skirt to tarps to signs to bags to shear cases to hair accessories to one bad ass wallet.
