ABOUT ME

Travelling on my own in Australia has been the hardest and at the same time the richest experience I have ever done in my life. I still have lots to discover. I'm travelling the last bit (from Cairns to Melbourne) with my French friend Sara.

PHILOSOPHY

I try no to offend people. I try to understand opinions especially when I don't agree.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Sara and I would be glad to prepare French meals in exchange of a couch ;). My speciality is pancakes stuffed with white cream, mushrooms and ham. Is your mouth watering yet?
When I have my own place back in France I will definitely host other couchsurfers (if you're Italian, please do ask for my couch, as I wanna learn you're beautiful language!)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was hosted in Cairns by Lino with my friend Sara. We couldn't believe our luck (Lino came to pick us up at the airport and lent us his car during the whole stay!). Lino was really cool and enjoyed having some company so we ended up staying for 15 days in the end!
Sara and I also went for a kayaking trip with Matilda, another active member of the couchsurfing group in Cairns.
And finally Sara and I were hosted at Garth's in Melbourne; nice talks and relaxed atmosphere. Garth is an inspiring young man. We're so glad we met him!

Interests

Listening to people and their experiences is a great way to pass the time. If there is a warm cup of tea or some wine involved it's even more captivating!
I love cooking, especially for other people (I'm not good at cooking meat though). I enjoy learning new recipes as well.
I enjoy walking_ on my own or with some good company_ and I regularly go jogging because I feel so good afterwards.

I'm amazed by people, the way they cope with life, the way they invent their life, the way they interact, change or stay the same.

Some people have passions (music,sport,travelling...) others are driven by their careers, others enjoy life in its daily routine. I don't know where I stand but I like picking up a few things here and there from the people I meet to make my life richer and livelier.
