My deployment to Afghanistan was nuts.... I've seen giant weed fields, and participated in some pretty crazy firefights. Iraq was a lot more mellow and I got to know a lot of great Iraqi people whose hospitality and kindness is unmatched - even though me and the buddies were the occupiers
