Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Unfortunately, none of my past living situations were friendly to couchsurfers, but I finally have a couch worthy of visitors.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first hosting experience allowed me to feel like I was traveling while staying at home. The cross-cultural, cross-viewpoint interactions are what it's all about. And making fun of accents, that too.

Music: Josh Ritter. Movie: Dark Horse...or Wall-E. Although I just watched Iron Giant and that was awesome. Books: Any well written thought provoking ones, like Annie Dillard.

I could teach: a little about basic guitar or bagel making.
I would love to learn: any favorite cooking, how to drive a manual transmission, surfing, or the swear words of another language.
