So, here I am…

originally from Istanbul. Live in Berlin since three years. Hybrid, half Turkish and half Arabian. Have a bachelor’s degree in International Relations and master's in European Studies. Travel significantly :)

I had Erasmus experience in Poland, however, I am pretty bad on speaking Polish “Nie rozumiem, nie wiem!”. This guided me somehow to learn Russian and I spelled cyrillic alphabet. After my undergraduate, I gave a break to my academic life and I travelled by "Interrail" in Europe with a small backpack. (2009)

I had a dream to live "American dream", so I did a year traineeship on management in Colorado. Having a bunch of hispanic friends tempted me to learn Spanish, “Sí, hablo un poquito.” I extended my stay and lived in the US for three years and travelled in the country as well. (2011)

After I went back to Istanbul, I worked in an international trade company dealing with oil-gas in the Middle East. During this job, I noticed that my aim was not to provide profit in private sector. I wasn’t a girl that stepping with high heels inside a plaza. In the end, I submitted my resignation and decided to focus on my studying. Consuequently, I became a part of outreaching campaigns. I had a dream… To go Africa for a good purpose! I have been to West Africa as a volunteer. and coordinated some sustainable development projects in The Gambia and Senegal. It was a great experience and I still feel connected with the local. (2013)

I have always believed that the purpose of life for me is to be happy and make the people around me happy! :) True story.
