ABOUT ME

I am a professional scientist (biologist) and so I enjoy everything that has something to do with nature. I also love going out for some live music (jazz, electronica, funky, rock, pop) or to do some sport outdoors. Currently, I am lucky enough to be working as a postdoctoral associate at Yale University, USA.

Music, Movies, and Books

Films & TV: anyhing funny, british comedy series (Peep Show, Alan Partridge), Monty Python, Woody Allen is my favourite, Tarantino of course, Coen brothers, French and Spanish films (Julio Medem), Arrested development, Big Bang Theory

Books: Especially 20th century's Anglo-American writers - it is my great and extremely useful hobby. Plus I like Czech writers (and believe it or not, I really like Milan Kundera).

Music: electronic music, jazz, world music, anything that you can dance to. I also try to compose my own electronica stuff.
