I have only just recently joined up, but I plan on providing a couch whenever I'm home as well as donations whenever I can spare them. I'll even provide stories if anyone is interested in listening!

There is very little I am NOT interested in, and I'm happy to converse at length on almost any topic, but if I had my druthers, I'd spend my time discoursing on political theory while rock climbing.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love pretty much everything Gene Wolfe has ever written, but I go for classic literature as well. I can't say I've read any fiction written in the last fifty years which really awed me. Of course, all that means is that I need more literate people to be recommending things!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was lucky enough during my year abroad in China to make the trip out to Tibet. Seeing the Tibetan capital, Lhasa, was a surreal experience, and it might be impossible to relate it to anyone without diminishing its impact dramatically. The evident fervency of the faith of the pilgrims there perambulating the Jokhang temple is humbling...
