ABOUT ME

iam fun loving and easy.loves to travel and meet new people thanx to my carrier as professional musician.

i play with a band called yunasi

i play an african instrument called nyatiti which is from tha luo tribe.

well, i believe in sharing and giving back and thats why i started my home recording studio to help produce young upcoming artist from tha slums of mathare in nairobi who does mostly hip hop.

apart from that i am head of performing arts in a non profit making organization based in mathare slum in nairobi that with three friends from yunasi helped to start.

tha organization called slum sanaahttp://www.slumsanaa.com aims to change tha community by teaching young children african dance,drumming and percussions freestyling which is an element of hiphop culture and singing.

this i a project we have been running in informal schools around kibera slum and mathare.but now in aprocess of trying to set up an art centre in the mathare slums where kids can even come when schools are closed.

well,just thought if ya gonna be surfing ma couch, it would be nice to know quite abit about what iam all about.

music is my life so i listen to anything from african music,reggae,hip hop,french music,techno,ska just any thing that my ears find interesting!!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

losts of stuff but still wants to do and see lot more!but on thing i cant forget is 2007 in belgium at the festival esperanza when i watched my fav musician "manu chao"live in perfomance!
