Hi! Nice to meet you^^ My name is Bao Ngoc, but you can call me Jewel. I'm from Vietnam and currently I'm studying in Hoa Sen university in English linguistic major. I love to make everyone happy and hanging out with friends. My biggest passion is travelling and I'm on my way to discovering the world. My goal is to visit each and every country in the world and meet as many as people as I can before I'm old, so in the future I can tell my child and my grandchildren about all the amazing journey I've been through and the wonderful people I've met.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

First of all...since I've taken couchsurfing in several places and met so many incredibly amazing people who inspires me so much that makes me want to be a couchsurfer as well, to meet and listen to there amazing story, their life, their culture:))
When I come to a place, I don't want to just follow the map and taking pictures like every touristers usually do, I want to meet up with the local to learn more about all the amazing things about that country that only can the locals know. I want to hear their thoughts, their story, learn more about their culture, cuisine...and build a great friendship with them. I want to have many friends all around the world because I believe friendship has no limits and no boundaries...who know some incidents will lead you to the greatest frienship you can have. And who knows if in the future my foreign friends would come to Vietnam someday, and I'll be happy to be a host to introduce them around the city.

兴趣

My ultimate love is food, the beauty of nature:the sun, sea, sky, trees, flowers..., my family, my teachers and my friends...I love pets, I've had4 birds, 5 hamsters and plenty of fishes...I'd love to have a dog in the future. I love watching movies, talk show and reality shows. My biggest passion is travelling because travelling is the only thing you buy that makes you richer, travelling makes you a story teller.

音乐、电影和书籍

- Music: Classical, pop, jazz. I have so many favorite singers that I can't even count, but those who appears the most in my playlist are Micheal Buble, Ed Sheeren, Birdy, Backstreet Boys, Westlife and Taylor Swift and lately I'm addicted to Adele^^
- I love almost all movies I've watched, among them all, Friends and How I met your mother are the series that keep me watching over and over again.
- My favorite books are definitely from Dan Brown, John Green, Nguyen Nhat Anh and I also love the book "The summer I turned pretty.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

- Have a volunteering internship for 2 months teaching English to children in the rural areas of Thailand. It's the experience I'll never forget because it helps me to get out of my comfort zone because I came to the place with different culture and no one understand my language and I can't understand them either. But somehow I still have one of the coolest journey ever, meeting many nice and cute students and Thai locals and receiving a lot of love.
- Going on an exchange study program in Belgium and fulfilling my Europe dream before I turn 21 ^^
- Hosting friends from Thai and India, my grandmother just love when I'm having foreign friends over
- Riding motorbike and singing under the rain

- Sharing story and experience. Everyone's having an interesting story to tell, and I want to meet more and more people just to listen to their story and be inspired, and also telling them about my story, and about Vietnam.
- Food^^ I may not be the best cook in the world but I can cook some simple Vietnamese dishes, I can share them with you because Vietnamese dishes are simply amazing. And I want to try some typical dishes from each country that I've visited also.

- Sharing stories. I'd love to meet the local people from every country I've visited, hearing their amazing stories and discuss with them about everything. I just love to listen and be inspired.
- Cuisine^^ I may not be the best cook but I'd glad to help the host to cook and introduce Vietnamese food to them, because Vietnamese food is simply delicious to me and I'd love to introduce it to the world.
