About Me
Hi, I’m Anh — but most people call me Ms. Anh 😊
I’m an English teacher and the founder of 3 small English centers for children in Vietnam.
Teaching has taught me more than just language. It has helped me understand people, patience, and the beauty of small progress. I truly believe that learning — just like traveling — is not about rushing, but about connecting, understanding, and growing step by step.
I love meeting people from different cultures, listening to real stories, and sharing simple moments: a meal, a conversation, a walk, or a quiet evening talking about life. I may look calm, but inside I’m curious about the world and how people live, think, and dream.
I enjoy meaningful conversations more than small talk, and I value kindness, respect, and openness. If you stay with me, I won’t promise luxury — but I do promise warmth, sincerity, and a space where you can feel safe and welcome.
Traveling, for me, is a way to learn without books — and hosting is my way of giving that learning back 🌱
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m on Couchsurfing because I believe the best way to understand the world is through people, not places. Traveling and hosting give me the chance to connect beyond surface-level conversations and learn how others live, think, and see life.
As a teacher, I value listening as much as speaking. Couchsurfing allows me to slow down, exchange stories, and build genuine human connections — even if only for a short time. I enjoy cultural exchange, simple moments, and the kind of conversations that stay with you long after the journey ends.
For me, Couchsurfing isn’t about a free place to stay. It’s about trust, openness, and sharing perspectives. Every connection is a small lesson, and every meeting adds something meaningful to my understanding of the world.
Interests
I enjoy meaningful conversations, cultural exchange, and learning how people live in different parts of the world. I like slow travel, simple routines, and moments that feel real rather than rushed.
Teaching is a big part of my life, so I’m always interested in education, personal growth, and understanding how people learn and grow. I enjoy reading, listening to calm music, watching thoughtful movies, and spending quiet time reflecting.
I also like walking, exploring local neighborhoods, trying home-cooked food, and sharing small everyday experiences. I value kindness, respect, and openness — and I’m always curious about new perspectives and stories.

Music, Movies, and Books
🎵 Music
I enjoy gentle, emotional music that helps me slow down and think. Acoustic songs, soft pop, and meaningful Vietnamese or international tracks are my favorites — especially music I can listen to after a long day of teaching.
⸻
🎬 Movies
I love movies about real life, personal growth, and human connection. Stories that feel honest, inspiring, or quietly powerful always stay with me longer than action or fast-paced films.
⸻
📚 Books
I enjoy books about self-development, education, and understanding people. I’m especially drawn to stories that encourage patience, kindness, and long-term thinking — books that change how you see the world, not just how you pass time.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I’ve helped children who were afraid of speaking English become brave enough to raise their hands and speak up — not just in class, but in life.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach
I teach English to children, but more than that, I help them feel safe to try, to speak, and to make mistakes. I believe real learning starts when fear disappears. In my classes, progress matters more than perfection, and patience is always part of the lesson. Teaching has taught me how small, consistent steps can change a person over time.
Learn
I learn continuously — from travel, from conversations, and from observing how people live differently around the world. Every culture, every story, and every person teaches me something new about empathy, resilience, and perspective. I’m especially interested in how people think, what they value, and what makes them feel at home.
Share
I enjoy sharing more than just space. I like sharing meaningful conversations, quiet moments, local experiences, and honest reflections about life. Whether it’s over a simple meal, a walk, or a late-night talk, I believe these small exchanges are what make travel and hosting truly memorable.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share good conversations, positive energy, and a respectful, easygoing attitude. I enjoy listening to stories, laughing together, and talking about everyday life, culture, and travel experiences.
If you’re interested, I’m happy to help with English practice or share what it’s like teaching children in Vietnam. I can also cook a simple Vietnamese meal, share local tips, or just spend time together — a walk, a coffee, or a casual chat at home.
I always take care of the space I stay in and truly appreciate the kindness of my host. For me, it’s about exchanging warmth, not just a place to sleep 😊
