About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Build a collection of stories to share with family, friends, and anybody I meet

ABOUT ME

I was born and raised in Virginia but have always been exposed to both American and Indian cultures. As a result, I've always enjoyed aspects of multiple cultures and love experiencing and learning about them. I feel I have an easy-going but adventurous personality and am equally happy to spend a relaxing evening with a small group of people or go out for a crazy night. There's little that I'll say no to!

I just finished college and have some time off before joining the corporate world, so I'm looking forward to doing some traveling and volunteering. So far I'm going to Costa Rica for a couple weeks and am working on planning a trip that will take me from South Africa to India to the Philippines and maybe some other Asian countries. Of course, once I start working, it will be harder to make the time to truly experience new cultures, but I definitely expect to make the effort.

PHILOSOPHY

Happiness is in the journey, not the destination.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new to CS, but have heard many great things from my friends about their experiences and am eager to gain some of my own!

Interests

I love playing and watching sports, but especially soccer. I grew up playing it and have followed international football for many years.

I also love skiing and snowboarding, comedy and funny stories, outdoor concerts and parties, and playing in the sun.
