ABOUT ME
I always want to broaden my professional discipline, to raise more and more questions.
Being brought up in that sort of town and trips to an ancient town in the middle of Vietnam where is my father’s hometown, for me, architecture started from those feelings and thinking beside the architectural knowledge and skills.
Family, hometown, classical music, traditional culture profoundly constituted my mind set and personalities.
The chance to study and live in Gent, Europe for me is both wonderful and difficult since the very difference in culture and climate which is essential in architecture. I have learned dimensions lives and my profession, architecture.

PHILOSOPHY
'Architecture is about giving form to the places where we live. It is not more complicated than that, but also not easier than that'

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I "google" for the best way to pleasure my passion of travel, discover and culture everywhere. Then, I found out that "couchsurfing" was such a great idea!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I had an unforgettable trip with new hosts and friends in my first journey to the East coast of China (It’s also my first time as a couch-surfer!) especially the time in Suzhou!
In that trip, I also spent the last 3 days in a budget hostel in central Ningbo and the best hostel right beside the stunning Westlake in Hangzhou. I felt so boring and lonely and wished that I could find a host. It’s really not about a free bed, it’s about talking, sharing or even a “good night” or “good morning” greetings before I sleep and when I get up!...
I love all of them and wasn’t know how to appreciate all their help. They made me just felt like at home everywhere in totally strange places and social! I may be a luckiest guy for my first time traveling abroad alone!

Interests

I have a special passion of art (not only fine-art but also everything that's art). I also love photography. I used to try with some compact cameras and a nikon D90; although, now, I'm using Nikon FE2 and my camera-phone.
Music is the another passion of mine. I used play classical guitar. And I love to enjoy to all kind of great music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

4 days with a family of Ethnic group in their village in the central Highlands of Vietnam! My friend, who volunteered there once, and I lived a special wildlife in that place. We tasted dried-forest-squirrels-meat, drank traditional alcohol which was terrible and took a snap right below a small secret waterfall!
My tremendous time of being and traveling within Europe!
