About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To experience life as it comes.

ABOUT ME

I love adventure, meeting new people, and trying new things. I would try any food you put in front of me. I am very outgoing and have a great sense of humor; I am always laughing. I love to talk but am also a great listener!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My entire family (mom, dad, brother) hosted two awesome girls this summer for about 5 days in my howntown of Stonington, Connecicut. They were the daughters of my mother's childhood best friend, but we had never met them, nor did we know anything about couchsurfing! But they were traveling around the US couchsurfing, and were passing through our town, so they stayed with us...longer than they even expected. My older brother, cousin, and I had a great time with these nice girls, took them our on our boat, had drinks, fed them some real new england seafood, and just enjoyed their company. They inspired me to join this great community, so hopefully I can experiences some amazing things like these girls have!

Interests

I love nature and being outside. My favorite past time is fishing, particularly trout fishing in the mountains of Pennsylvania. I also love anything that has to do with water, especially the ocean. I love every water activity from swimming to boating to kayaking. Socializing is also a large part of what makes me happy, from my closest friends and my family to new and interesting strangers. You learn a lesson from everyone you meet!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was in the United Arab Emirates with a school group and my professor had previously met a family of native Emirates, who invited us to their farm for dinner. After a night filled with an assortment of delicious fresh meats, roasted on spits over an open fire, and endless puffs of hookah, we went sand-duning, riding on the top of a military-issued hummer. Holding on for dear life, in the middle of the night, we went for an open-air ride up and down some incredibly high dunes.

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to eventually start my own business and as I travel I am hoping to discover my one great idea that not only can become profitable but will help the greater community.
