Hi there, I'm Niah. I am partly Russian and Ukrainian, but was born in a lovely country in the central Asia called Kyrgyzstan. When I was 10 years old my parents and I moved to Russia. After my graduation I spent one year working in China. And currently I live and work in England, Kent.

I love my new hobby to change my lifestyle, a country I live in, a job, a language I speak, my appearance and name. 😄 join me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I usually prefer to travel and learn other cultures volunteering. I've participated in various short-term camps in Iceland, Spain and South Korea. I still believe that it's one of the best ways to travel, but since I've started my long term project in England I can travel not longer than a week or two. So, I've got an idea that it is the best tine to try something totally new, smth like couchsurfing.

Mostly I like folk and rock music. But I am always open to smth totally new. My very first crush is Linkin Park, also I like Disturbed, Korn, Subway to Sally, Letzte Instanz and now I'm very fond of Santiano.

As to cinematography, I am a huge fan of Tim Burton, Guillermo del Toro and Wes Anderson.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Volunteering is the best thing that ever happened to me. I am very proud that right now I do my long term project, I help carers to take care of their relatives, usually it's an old disabled person.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share some stories about volunteering or living and working abroad. I have lots of hilarios ones about China. I am a nice companion in talking, travelling, cooking or creating smth.
