About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Find the balance between conquering and exploring the outer world and finding some solid inner peace.

ABOUT ME

I'm a speech language pathologist at an elementary school working with the greatest and brightest kids most of whom are deaf. I'm a classic ColoRADian I love skiing hiking road biking Xc skiing urban hiking drinking beer and eating nourishing noms. Im a CODA (child of deaf adults) and I'm incredibly lucky to be one. I love to travel and would love to do more of it as my beginning teacher salary slowly adds up! I love being social as much as I love movies, books writing, cooking, and solitude.

PHILOSOPHY

Life happens through you, not to you.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiked the whole CAmino de Santiago and had a superb time.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd be able to share my knowledge of American Sign Language and Deaf culture-- I'm always willing to spread the awareness.

I love talking about linguistics and language although I'm not a linguist

HOWEVER, mostly I love talking about any human experience no matter how mundane or extreme.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I do my best to accommodate and be aware of people's feelings and needs (sometimes I overdo this). I appreciate it when people know what they want and need from and share it with me so there is more room for free flowing conversation and fun!
