Hello all! My name's Nicole, and I am a four-year resident of Austin, TX, originally hailing from Charlotte, NC.

I work in art education, and I'm so fulfilled to make a living from discussing and investing in the humanities. I'm also a painter who leans toward making neo-abstract expressionist works.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

What I love most about Couchsurfing is how it promotes connections between strangers. There is such a growing distrust of strangers in our culture, and I love that Couchsurfing allows people to invest trust and form relationships in spite of how closed off our society can often feel.
