My favorite books growing up that I still love are Harry Potter, the Princess Bride, and the His Dark Materials series.

Swimming/floating in the Dead Sea. Star/moon gazing and drinking wine in hot springs on the Italian island Ischia. Swimming in cenotes (fresh water pools) deep underground in Mexico.
