ABOUT ME

Began my constant traveling and couchsurfing by playing ultimate frisbee at Tulane, and taking 8-16 hour road trips for a weekend of ultimate with the team at least once a month. I still play ultimate a ton, currently on a club team, Seattle Sockeye, that travels nationally and internationally to play and teach ultimate. I'm currently looking to buy a home, and would love to develop urban infill projects in the future. In a nutshell I love being outdoors, most any sport you can think of and have just started doing triathlons, hearing a debaucherous story over a great meal, and being healthy... unless we're gettin rowdy.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy... that's a toughie. I'm currently still working it out, i guess, which is a good reason to couch surf.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well, I'm new to this all, and it seems grand. I would love to meet some great people traveling through my couch, and would love to find a couch to crash for an ulty tourney or triathlon sometime.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've crashed at people's places numerous times across the nation and world playing frisbee and occasionally for normal surfing or otherwise (notably across the US and a good deal in Russia, Italy, Germany, France, Switzerland, and Belgium).

兴趣

I love sports, am an avid movie watcher (although less now than in undergrad), love a good graphic novel as well as history books and most fiction, love living near my family and playing with my nieces and nephews, love watching soccer and some shows like The Office (both British and American are great) and Arrested Development, and would like to play the piano like I did when I was young but quit again.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

On one hike in Jackson Hole, WY I saw rain, sleet, snow, and hail, 5 bears, a recently severed deer hoof, and a frozen lake (in the summer).

I captained the US national beach ultimate frisbee team to a gold medal at the world championships last summer.

I ran a 200 person ultimate frisbee camp/clinic in Russia for a week, twice (once in 2011, once in 2012).

I can teach you to play frisbee, talk about the complexities involved in urban planning from social/architectural/other viewpoints(or not, if this bores you to tears), know a few drinking games here and there, and love to make people laugh.
