Hi, I'm Nichii. I reside in the DC metro area (Northern Virginia). I am new to couch surfing.

I consider myself unconventional, self-reliant, spontaneous, objective, solo traveler, health conscious (enjoys physical fitness), non-smoker and non-drinker. I am a vegetarian (ranges between pescatarian and vegan dishes). I am a student practitioner of Vipassana meditation and pluviophile. I am a politically active with green projects, slow food movement, mental health issues, cancer awareness, and world health.

I am originally from Chicago however I currently reside in the DC metro area. I support my hometown teams; Chicago Bears, Bulls and Black Hawks. I have lived in various places around the world but decided to homestead in Northern VA/DC metro area for the last 8-10 years until the last child launched from the nest in June 2014.
