Hi I'm Nick

I'm a friendly, easy going Australian who is very relaxed , excitable and up for an adventure. I love travelling and meeting new people, everyone has a fascinating story or something about them that you can learn from and make a connection with.

I love surfing , cooking , walking , music ( listening, playing and jamming), history, culture, books and festivals. I love down time as much as social time as I love my own company but will always welcomed someone into my zone.

I'm passionate about health and the environment, human rights and general things that make value people, communities and this great planet that we live on. I love seeing new places and meeting new people, travelling and new experiences are good for the soul.

I work as a registered nurse in a busy Emergency Department and worked lots of different jobs and travelled around the world but have many many more places to go.

It's a way of having a much more authentic and real travelling experience. To be invited into another person's home is a privilege, which I understand and respect.
Meeting people and seeing places this way creates such a positive culture around travelling and reinforces the positive global community of people that get involved in couch surfing .

It's about good vibes and good times, respect and being open minded.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I established a community initiative in wollongong With the non-profit initiative of One Wave that was started up in Bondi.

I started the Wollongong Branch and it involves going surfing in bright fluro outfits to highlight mental health issues in society and bring out the invisible within us all , showin that anyone can feel down and support is there if you need it. Fighting the funk with salt water therapy , yoga and having conversations this event is run weekly and open to the public as was successful back in wollongong .

The One wave programme is spreading all over the world. It was a great thing to be a part of and I'ms super proud of myself for getting in going in Wollongong .

I can play a didgeridoo so if you have one of them I'll show you how to play it, I used to teach surfing , worked with autistic children for a short amount of time. I also taught wakeboarding in Wales, can play a guitar, banjo (still learning). Would love to learn some more languages and that is the next thing on my to do list.
