I am a cyclist, reader, runner, engineer, student, and lover of dry humor (enter "The Office;" both versions, "Parks & Recreation," "Shaun of the Dead," and "Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri"). Restaurants are my primary destination anywhere I go; I highly prize the opportunity to experience a culture through the eyes of its Michelin-starred chefs and home cooks alike.

I am a deeply environmental person. That being the case, I believe the best way to truly understand my planet is to travel around it and to meet the people living on it. I am on Couchsurfing to gain that experience, and to build those relationships. Couchsurfing's reciprocal nature excites me. Just as I want to experience this planet, I want others to experience where I'm from; to live and to eat and to play in my hometown on the Great Lakes.
