Hi, my name is Nick, and I am a traveller and Comparative Lit student! I am originally from St. Louis, Missouri, but have lived in France, the UK, and Italy, and I have travelled quite a bit in Europe. I love learning languages, and got a lot of practice as I was growing up thanks to my parents, who are professors and moved us around a lot. I am fluent in French, am desperately trying to get better at Italian, and would love to learn German at some point. I plan on going back to France to continue studying literature ASAP!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travel can feel pretty alienating when you don't get a chance to interact with people in your destination, and Couchsurfing provides a brilliant way of making travel more about experiences with people. I love the chance to step into other people's worlds—however briefly—and share a bit of my own.
