Hello! I'm a medical student from Portland, Oregon, currently attending school in Philadelphia, PA. I was born in Singapore, but have lived most of my life in the United States. I'm a huge outdoorsy person, and I love to run, hike, kayak, and climb mountains.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As a student, I'm always looking for new ways to stay frugal while maximizing the amount of things I can see and do. I was recommended to try Couchsurfing from a good friend for my upcoming summer Europe trip, and I am thrilled by the opportunity to meet new people and immerse myself in the local culture.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've climbed to the summit of Mount Adams, the 2nd tallest mountain in Washington State at 12,281 ft or 3,743 m. We faced temperatures below freezing and 30 mph (48 kmh) winds! It was one of the most exhausting things I have ever done, but the view from summit was absolutely beautiful and made the trek totally worthwhile.
