I am a 21 year old Russian-born student who is studying in Germany at the moment. I want to gain the most from my experience here by creating genuine contacts with other internationals, and couch surfing seems like an excellent channel for this. I enjoy talking about music and movies, as well as world commerce and economics. I study these concepts through a marketing perspective at the States.

Stories are told through the meeting of new people. All surfers and hosts have one similar desire, and that is to meet new people genuinely, and learn something about his or her guest. As a prospective guest, I have the same desires. I wish to learn, to observe, and to immerse myself in your culture, your habitat, and your lifestyle. I am excited to see new people, taste new food, and go new places. I am something of a vagabond here in Europe.. I study in Germany for a few months and then go back to the States to finish my degree.

Earned the rank of Eagle Scout within the Boy Scouts of America. I built a disability ramp for the physically impaired. Through BSA, I have dog-sledded in the Canadian forest, sailed in the Florida Keys, and slept in my own igloo.
