Hey, my name's Nick. I'm a teacher in China. I'm a musician and I'm into martial arts. I also do lots of writing. I like to learn languages and linguistics. Further, come fall, I'll be beginning a masters program in Education.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I haven't done any couch surfing before, but I do have a reason for deciding to be a host. I know how daunting it can be to travel or live in a place where you don't understand much or any of the local language. It's nice to have some friendly people you can count on.

I live here with my partner, Janney, and together we've talked about hosting travelers. I think we both just really like helping people.

Interests

I really like story telling, reading, movies, stuff like that. Chinese martial arts. I like music a lot too. Been playing guitar for a long time. Now, I'd like to learn the guzheng.
I like cooking too! Janney and I abide the veggy diet.
