ABOUT ME

I am a super easy going, interesting and adventurous guy from the beautiful west coast of Canada. I lived in Mexico for a few months, years ago now, but at some point I was bitten by a travel bug and I have not and may never recover! I'm seeking to travel the world and experience and enjoy as many different places and cultures as I can in this life! I'm looking to meet locals and hopefully find a free place to stay, but even more importantly an insight into life in different parts of the world!

Interests

My two main interests are food and music. Also the two main reasons why I travel! I cook for a living, currently working on my certification. I believe, since we eat everyday, why not make as many amazing meals as possible! All over the world so many cultures define and celebrate their communities and unique identities with different and usually delicious types of food. I would like to experience as much of this first hand as humanly possible! Music is a major part of my life. Yet another definitive, creative form of expression that shared differently all over the world. I need to soak up as much as I can! I grew up playing the drums, but have since embarked on collecting and seeking out new and old music and eventually DJ as much good music as possible! I love most sports, don't play as many as I would like too. I enjoying running, hiking, biking and just getting some sun! Beer on the patio or beach is almost always marvellous. And I always love meeting amazing people!!

Music, Movies, and Books

Two types of music in my opinion - good and bad. Same for movies... I'm pretty random with the book selection, but I prefer funny, historic and interesting stories...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Meditating in a temple in Kyoto, Japan. Experiencing the ambience of the historic temple, while people express their spirituality, just as if it was a thousand years ago. Time less.
So many amazing concert moments, don't know where to start....
