I'm just meandering at the moment. I'm going back to study my MA Anthropology in September but until then I'm not tied down to anything, which is great!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm travelling from London to Västerås overland and I'd like to meet some interesting new people on the way. Once I arrive, I'm going to be working at a Viking heritage centre and historical ship museum.

I also want to get more involved with the community so that when I'm back in a position to host, I can know more people who want to visit.

Interests

I love art and culture in all forms from classical to avant garde. I consume art and I also create it when I have time. I enjoy learning about history, geography and people in general as well. Humanity is fascinating.

I enjoy water sports but I don't real;y have the opportunity to do any very often.

Gormenghast

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skydiving at dawn over Wadi Rum, Jordan. It was my first time and seeing the sun rise over the horizon, tinging everything rosy pink and orange as I plummeted toward the ground took my breath away (both literally and figuratively).

Teach, Learn, Share

As a trained English teacher, I'd be happy to lend a hand with any language questions or fluency practice. Aside from that, I suppose it depends on the individual what I'm able to teach them.

Likewise, I'd love to learn anything that anyone can teach me. I'm open to all lessons! Specifically though, if I could learn or practice any languages that would be great. I'd also like to learn some violin.
