ABOUT ME

I am 21 years old and I live in Glenwood Springs, CO. I am quite blessed to live in such a gorgeous place. For a time I thought I would be an only child, but not so! I have 3 brothers and 2 sisters from 7 - 20 years younger than me. I love them all very much and I hope to be a good example to them. I am very respectful and aware of my surroundings and I make it a point to leave a place as good as or better than when I found it. It is always such a privilege to meet and stay with new people.

I love playing board games, card games, chess, scrabble, etc. I like to learn new games, so if you know a good one, teach me!

I enjoy a good discussion about world, social, religious, and political topics and just about anything else! I am very opinionated, but not closed minded. I am always interested in hearing different points of view.

Also, I am not easily offended. So don't be afraid to speak your mind around me. I believe to be offended one has to take offense and I choose to not be offended!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couchsurfed several times on my return trip from Florida to California. Nothing but good experiences. I really enjoy meeting new people and sharing stories. Beats staying at a hotel every time.

Interests

I enjoy traveling, rock climbing, weight lifting, soccer, reading, studying, cooking and more! I like the outdoors, but I also enjoy strategy games and serious discussions.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy a wide variety of music, however, I mostly listen to Christian rap. Artists such as Taelor Gray, Dre Murray, JGivens, John Givez, Jackie Hill Perry, Christon Gray, Eshon Burgundy, etc. I also enjoy plenty of trance, pop, electronic, hymns, and a capella.

Lately been really getting into Indie Folk music. Ben Howard, Josh Garrels, Bon Iver, Novo Amor, Dustin Tebbutt, Mumford & Sons, etc.

V for Vendetta, The Matrix, Pursuit of Happyness, I Am Legend, The Hunger Games, etc.

The Bible, Boundaries, Total Money Makeover, Mr. Money Mustache, Start With Why, Breaking The Chains of Modern Day Slavery, Daemon,etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Conquered my fear of roller coasters by riding them for 13 hours! Drove from Colorado to Florida and Florida to California at 18 years old all by myself!

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to learn. I have strong opinions on almost everything. I am open to new ideas and enjoy discussing a variety of topics. I would love to learn martial arts, another language, gymnastic moves, and dancing!

I am a student of the Bible. I love reading and studying the scriptures on my own and with others.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Great cooking, fun stories, good discussions. I can teach you how to crochet a blanket, scarf, beanie, etc. A good game of chess or other board/card games!
