About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel, adventure and living life

ABOUT ME

I am a friendly, easy going and energetic person. I am a teacher of many subjects. I have taught biology in an university, English in a foreign country and yoga. I have also taught Developmentally Disabled Adults basic living skills. Somehow it's a natural fit for me. I have lived in Taiwan for 15 months then traveled through Asia and Europe for about 4 months. I came back to the US to visit family and friends. I spent 8 months in Mexico and Central America. I also had nice trip to Colombia. Traveling helps me grow and I learn so much from the different people I meet and cultures I experience.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is not a race but a journey to be savored each step of the way. Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery and today is a gift.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When I'm living in the right situation, I will gladly host those who have hosted me and those in need of a place to stay. For now, I am just a surfer.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've done it a few times and it has been great. It's a great way to learn about a new place.

Interests

I like to travel, read, explore the unknown and meet new people. I enjoy nature: gardening, hiking and camping. I love yoga and it's principles. Cooking and savoring different foods are great.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking the entire Pacific Crest Trail (Mexico to Canada) by myself. Skydiving in Sonoma, CA was pretty amazing.
