I just want to ride my bike and not get hassled by The Man.

I'm taking some time off work to do something else for a while. The plan for spring and summer 2015 is to strap a few things to my bike and ride from Canada to Mexico (and then who knows?) stopping to smell the flowers and take in the beautiful sights of the Pacific coast.

Back in Bristol I work on social research projects; mostly relating to environmental issues like flooding and climate change.

I like riding my bike, chatting to people, walking in the woods, and sharing a beer. Also a very average surfer and looking for anyone to show me around the beaches of the Pacific coast.
