Overview
About Me
Yo! I am current student of philosophy and sociology, a listener and creator of hip-hop music/culture, a passionate advocate for anti-racist activism, and lover of avocados and hummos.
I currently go to school at Wesleyan University in Connecticut, but I rep the San Francisco Bay Area everywhere I go, and feel very passionate about its issues (displacement, opiod epidemic) as well as its culture (hyphy music, restorative justice).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've heard positive things about Couchsurfing for a long time now, and just recently heard from a very close friend who used it while staying in Chicago and ending up becoming life-long friends with his host.
When travelling, I always prefer to get the experience and perspective of a local if possible, not only to be best informed of spots to check out for food, drinks etc., but also to know how to best comport myself and be conscious of the history and culture of the place I am visiting. I also love meeting new people, making new friends, and sharing my love of music, food, drinks, and other culture with folks.
