I am a Greek national who was born in Johannesburg (South Africa), grew up in Cape Town, and now live in London.

I am a Civil Engineer, who has worked in renewable energy development in South Africa and in the UK. But I wouldn't say that defines me.

I play, and am extremely enthusiastic in music (I play the tenor saxophone); am passionate about and do some freelance photography (IG handle: 'nickvasili'); adrenaline junkie and extremely interested in travelling and meeting people from all walks of life. I play and coach basketball. I love sharing my interests with other people.

Part of my interest in travelling, is meeting people who live in those parts of the world that I would like to visit. The concept adopted in 'people of New York' really appeals to me as I believe everyone is interesting and has their own story.

On the flip side of the same coin, I love to share my (assumed) knowledge of my city with people that are passionate about travel. You can't find all the hidden secrets on your tripadvisors, culture trip etc!

Walking trail through the Kruger National Park and slept in the bush for 7 days. We were ambushed by Hyenas!

Chasing the Northern Lights in Iceland, standing in -10 degree weather trying to grab a few pictures

Broke my shoulder snowboarding in Italy (although this is nothing to be proud of).
