ABOUT ME

I joined Couch Surfing years ago at the recommendation of a like minded traveller friend of mine. What a great way to meet people all over the world and see it through a local’s perspective. I’ve done numerous cross country road trips and have seen the beauty of this country (although I feel I’ve only scratched the surface). Lived in numerous states. Was in the U.S. Coast Guard and became a federal firefighter when I got out in 2007. I moved to Savannah, Georgia from gorgeous Kodiak, Alaska in 2012. I now live in Rincon, Georgia (25 mins from downtown Savannah). Being a full time Dad to my awesome 8 year old daughter and constantly working on my house, as well as my random firefighter work schedule doesn’t offer me as much time to host or travel as much as I would love to so it will be hit or miss on my availability to fulfill requests. But if the opportunity aligns, I’ll do my best to make sure you have a wonderful time and get as much out of your visit to this beautiful historic city as you hoped.. As I can only hope for the same when I visit you! I also understand people value space and alone time which I respect if you just need a point in the right direction during your stay. It’s all about rackin’ up new stories, experiences and memories. Oh, and I have a sweet medium sized dog (my daughter’s).

Documentaries and grew up on 80’s movies.. so too many to list. Nowadays it’s more about what’s your favorite series. But not a lot of time for t.v.

Music? Mostly all of it, pre-current music.. ha.
Again way too much music to list so I’ll just list what I’ve listened to today... Primus, Ray LaMontagne, T. Rex. Got over 5,000 songs on shuffle in my iTunes so never know what’s next

Books: Always reading something.. At the moment, Blood Meridian and Journey of Souls
