Overview
About Me
Just a laid-back wanderer trying to squeeze all of the joy and new experiences I can out of my journey through this beautiful world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Obviously the saving money is really nice, but for me it’s much more about meeting local people and feeling a greater connection to the places I travel through. All hotel rooms are pretty similar, but every host is unique.

Music, Movies, and Books
Kurt Vonnegut, Jorge Luis Borges, Julio Cortazar, Isabel Allende, Salman Rushdie, Jeanette Winterson, David Mitchel, really I could do this all day! I love many different kinds of music and film as well! Everything has its time and place to shine I think.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Last week I double-handed a sailboat from the south of France to Tunisia and back. It was amazing!
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to learn and try to be always learning new things, new skills, and new languages. Anything I know I’m happy to teach!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Happy to cook or generally help out in any way I can while I’m a guest, but mostly what I hope to share is just good attitude, joy, and some good stories and laughter.
