Born and raised in Los Angeles. Despite having a well traveled family, I never bothered venturing outside the country until I was 23. Now I can't get enough of it.

Have spent plenty of time in hostels. Despite them being a great place to meet people, they're not always great if you're looking to meet actual locals. Thought this would be a good way to really immerse myself while travelling.

Music - I grew up with Hip-hop/rap and classic rock.
But I can listen to it all. From Lupe Fiasco to Vivaldi to Led Zeppelin to Stromae to Arcade Fire.

Movies - Went to film school so I do my best to watch anything and everything. Dark comedies are probably my favorite. Relatos Salvajes, Love Exposure (愛のむきだし), Burn After Reading are just a few.
