About Me

I’m an 18 year old Australian on a gap year backpacking through Europe! I can speak a small amount of Spanish and would love to learn more (maybe in exchange for helping with English??) I can play bass, guitar, and drums and would love a chance to jam with a host. Or if someone has a guitar but hasn’t begun learning I could definitely help teach them. I’m interested in the night life and finding music shows around Europe, so having a local who knows the local bands would be amazing! I’m also interested in running, rock climbing, and cooking! Australia doesn’t have many foods that can compete with the food of Europe but I love to cook Mexican and Japanese style food and would like to share this with a host!

I’m quiet and clean, and don’t take up much space as I will hopefully be seeing the sights of your area for most of the day; I will not be a bother if you have to work or have personal space

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would love the chance to learn about the day to day life of a local, and seperate myself from the strict itinerary that tourists usually do. I think if I can share the experience of a locals life then I can be more immersed, I would also appreciate the chance to share the love of music and language!

Music, Movies, and Books

Anything rock, jazz, or funk. Love the chili peppers, foo fighters, Metallica, but also softer and more groove focused music such as Marvin Gaye

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I’ve played roughly 20 gigs back in Melbourne, none of them were massive shows but I used to get stage fright and it took a lot of confidence for me to get over that. While this probably isn’t amazing, it was difficult for me to overcome this and took a fair bit of courage
