🟠 ABOUT ME — Nick’s Not-So-Ordinary Life

Hey! I’m Nick from Taiwan 🇹🇼 — ex-submarine officer turned full-time life explorer.
I used to navigate stealth warships under the ocean… now I navigate budget airlines, random bus stations, and Couchsurfing couches.

In 2024, I jumped ship (literally quit my job), grabbed my backpack, and decided my new boss would be Adventure.
Since then, I’ve:
• Hitchhiked around Taiwan 🚗 (spoiler: most drivers are lovely, some just really like to talk about mangoes)
• Camped in the middle of the Australian outback at Uluru 🌌 (bonus: the flies tried to eat me before the sunset did)
• Walked 800 km across Spain on the Camino de Santiago 🥾 (yes, my feet are still mad at me)
• Chased the northern lights twice in the Arctic Circle ❄️ — and finally saw them dance in Tromsø 💚
• Drove the entire ring road around Iceland 🚙💨 (every 5 minutes: “Stop! Another waterfall!”)
• Spent Christmas in Germany with my friend’s family 🎄 — one of the warmest, happiest times of my life
• Watched the new year’s sunrise from a hot-air balloon over Cappadocia 🎈

I’m here to swap stories, share laughs, maybe cook you Taiwanese street food, and find those “wow, I can’t believe that just happened” travel moments together.

When it comes to movies, Dear Evan Hansen really hits home for me. I’m also an anime fan, with Attack on Titan being my top pick. As for music, John Mayer is my go-to artist—his tracks are on constant repeat.
