ABOUT ME

Well, I went to the University of Colorado and majored in Film Studies. I play the mandolin, and the bass (upright and electric) For music I'm into Bluegrass, Rock, Jazz and Jambands (purely for the improvisational aspects) I grew up in Burlington, VT then moved to Boulder, so as you may have noticed I have only lived in what I call "bubbles" and am in need to find something out there that I am not familiar with.

I usually travel in the summer time, but for this winter I'm staying in Heeney, CO and probably available to host!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Stayed a few places on in the boston area, but I have never yet couchsurfed abroad

Interests

I love playing and listening to lots of music. I was a film studies major at CU but don't get confused, I actually don't like watching movies and TV, especially Hollywood movies, they friggen drive me crazy. I'm into sound engineering and would like to eventually start a career in the field. When I read for pleasure I'm into fantasy type stuff (ex. Harry Potter, Golden Compass Series, stuff like that)

Music, Movies, and Books

Hmmm.. Music.. Well I grew up listening to jambands like Phish and such and still listen to them but right now I like to listen and play Bluegrass Music! Yeeee Haaaawww! Nothin like an old timey whiskey pick!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Just in the recent past, on my way driving from Colorado, I past by a brush fire that literally went up to the side of the Highway! And I saw from a distance the lightning strike that actually started it (I think...)

I know a lot about music theory, from my studies at CU I know a thing or two about film making. most of all i can tell you about the places I've lived; Born and raised in Burlington, VT moved to Boulder, CO... (i know they're not much different) but really they are.
