To cycle from London to Istanbul, to find out about the world and have some time to think!

ABOUT ME

I am an outgoing, friendly person who enjoys community, people, music, good food and conserving the world's resources.

At the moment I am cycling between London and Istanbul. My mum was a cycle campaigner and I have developed a great love of cycle touring and building bikes.

I am an energy efficiency professional with a background in Solar PV research. I come from a small village that had England's first recycling scheme so I have been brought up with the idea of saving the world!

I play a number of musical instruments mainly in classical, jazz and folk genres. I really enjoy playing music with other people as well as listening.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I cannot offer a couch as I am travelling but I hope to be able to host when I am back.

I would be excited to meet people along my trip and find out about their perspective of the world and get an insight to what local life is like where I am travelling.
