About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I like to have fun, experience life and to meet people. There's not much to say, I just want to see the world. I love new cultures/experiences and even when you think there's no way you can find something in common with another person, a five minute chat changes all of that.
ABOUT ME
I like to go out and have fun. I like to meet new people and I am a college student in the US. I use to live in Costa Rica, have traveled around Central America a bit and have been to Europe once or twice.
I am very laid back and sometimes I just like to chill. Maybe a hookah session or some wine or a movie. I like to bring my headphones with me and spend hours taking pictures or sitting back and watching the world move around me.
I like music too, I like sports alto and I can have an opinion based, politically driven discussion once in a while.
PHILOSOPHY
Life is all about the people you meet and the way you allow them to impact you. I don't believe in holding grudges and have found that the more positive I stay and the nicer I am to others, good things seem to happen.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Well the obvious reason is because I'm poor and I'd like to have a cheap (or free :D) place to stay for a night or two. Because one thing I've learned is that airports and bus/train stations suck to sleep in and park benches or random areas are not much better for anything other than a quick nap.
But, why travel somewhere, only to surround yourself by people from the same background as yourself? The locals are the one's with the connections. I mean, the underground clubs and the secret spots, are always the best places to be anyways.
Interests
I like to snowboard and play frisbee. I enjoy to dance in clubs and when I am not going out, I spend my time with friends or watching movies. taking pictures and I enjoy reading.
I also listen to music and I enjoy random discussions about music/sports/politics/the world/anything really.

Music, Movies, and Books
I took a history class on Rock and Roll and its evolution...... Probably the greatest class I have ever taken.
So from Classical music like Beethoven/Mozart, to Big band/blues/jazz, to Muddy Waters and Chicago blues.... getting into anything 60s, anything 70s, most things 80s, most things 90s and even some 2000s, I can find something I like about just about any genre in music.
Jeff Buckley/The Beatles/Muse are probably my most listened to musicians/bands.
But I especially like progressive rock, minimal techno, Hans Zimmer, 90s rap...etc.
It doesn't have to all be Western either haha
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hitchhiked in Costa Rica. The day started off with a noon session of multiple pints of beer. Then with just 6000 colones ($12) I, along with my roommate and his friends (my first day living in the apartment), went to the liquor store, stocked up on beer/wine and began our journey... Eventually we found ourselves stranded in a dangerous area of Costa Rica, hours after the sun went down but after just 3 minutes of sticking our thumbs out, a truck driver picked us up.
Somehow, we made it to our destination at my roommate's friend's house, near the border of Panama but I had to turn around because my 1500 colones ($3) was not enough for the border fee.
Teach, Learn, Share
Latin culture, salsa, Spanish, who knows really, i have experienced some things. I believe a good conversation can teach you more about life than a classroom ever would.
