Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to couchsurfers although I have been interested in joining for about four years. I would like to host when I move into my new place but am just getting involved in the organization now.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have always been a couchsurfer at heart. I pick up and go to new places, meet new people, make new friends, and love to show people a good time or help them to explore in my city. I've crashed on my friends couches here and there in between traveling, I mostly have used hostels and overnight trains when traveling abroad and usually have camping gear when taking road trips.

Interests

I love to explore on my bike, on foot, or just driving around the city listening to music when I have nothing to do. Still working on getting to know Chicago but I've covered a lot of ground here. My favorite thing in the world is exploring new cities; I have quite a few under my belt but will never get my fill.

I'm really into outdoor activities. Hiking, biking, rollerblading, camping, rock climbing, caving, boating, sailing, water skiing, wake boarding, tubing, snowboarding, skiing, golf, frisbee, frisbee golf, ect.

In the kitchen/out to dinner: I am a foodie, and a connoisseur of most alcoholic libations. I love to cook and to go out to eat or drink. I like to shop frequently for fresh local food and experiment in the kitchen. I like to eat out and try ethnic food as much as possible so I have been trying a lot of new dishes recently in Chicago.

I love music - EDM (electronic dance music) and Hip-Hop so going to listen to a good DJ and dancing is something I enjoy and do at least once a week. I have been going to Primary quite frequently lately and also appreciate smartbar.

I like adult animation which consists of animated cartoons like family guy, bob's burgers, simpsons, southpark, aqua teen, home movies, american dad, cleveland show, mission hill, ect.

Books: I like to read things that you learn things and stuff lol. I do appreciate fiction also but would prefer to read something that will kick some knowledge in my head. Favorite book is "Be Here Now" by Ram Dass. My favorite author is Deepak Chopra. He is a smart MF!
