About to start a month on the road through France and Spain on my motorcycle. Super excited to eat great food and drink LOTS of lovely wine!

ABOUT ME

After travelling for 9 months I moved to Korea to teach English, or try anyway! I was here for 2 years then took a 6 month break to travel again before coming back... I am a pretty chilled out fella. I like to chat a lot and laugh...I like motorcycles and photography, skiing, football, rock climbing and generally chilling out with friends and camping at the beach. I love taking trips on my motorcycle and have travelled a lot in Korea probably having seen more of the country than most who live here!

PHILOSOPHY

I feel very grateful for the life I have and the freedom I have to go where I want. I just want to be happy and make the people around me happy too. I try to be accommodating to everyone and love to have a laugh with friends and family.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have setup a group for Korean Motorcycle users hopefully to collate stories and suggestions for the best place to ride!

I have surfed and hosted a number of times, each one special in it's own way. Check out my references.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had couchsurfers once while in Korea (we didn't have many requests due to our location outsde of Seoul) and couchsurfed in Busan while we were there.I surfed in Istanbul, Tbilisi, Abu Dhabi, Palawan and Mumbai on my travels and will certainly be hoping to do more this time! I've had a couple of surfers who I think enjoyed themselves! :) I've had great experiences at each and every one of my stays and learnt a lot about how to be a good host!

Music, Movies, and Books

Love watching movies and reading a good book. I could have opened a book shop after travelling for 9 months!I'm not a movie snob by any stretch, but love to watch a good movie that makes you talk about it afterwards.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I drove an Auto-Rickshaw from Goa in south India to Pokhara in Nepal...4,000 km in a heap of junk machine in 2 weeks! Best time ever! Top speed was 53kmph, 3 wheels, 2 stroke so had to mix the oil and petrol ourselves, drove through the heart of India, actually more like the bowel of India! and still reckon it's the most exciting thing I've ever done!

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach - Whatever I can! I knows a lot about places to travel and motorbike trips... I really don't know, I just hope we can enjoy our time together and learn just 1 little thing to take away from meeting each other.
