Visited where my grandmother was baptized in Larache, Morocco. That was a genealogical discovery for me!

Be resilient with language practice. Don't get discouraged by however many times you stutter, use the wrong tense, or can't find the right word for something. Truly empathetic people won't mind, and they will help. My true friends have a way of correcting my Spanish with love. I try to do that with my students. Correct coming from a place of encouragement, not of arrogance.
