Hi, my name is Nick. I never quite know what to write in these boxes but I guess a good place to start is that I'm an actor and I grew up on the outskirts of London. I'm 25, and I love travelling and soaking up art and music and culture and all the beautiful fruits you can find in exploring the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have had some of the most beautiful and important experiences through couchsurfing and I would love to continue to surf and host and keep this amazing thing going.

Interests

I love travelling and have a particular draw towards Asia. I'm not sure I've ever been more happy and excited by life than when I landed in Tokyo to travel Japan for three months by myself.
Travelling in India had a particularly profound impact on me and riding the trains across that beautiful place was one of the best travel experiences I ever had.

I also feel a particular affinity the free and open city of Berlin where I always meet amazing people and love dancing with new and old friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love taking in beautiful films, dancing to awesome music and getting lost in an amazing novel... I don't have strict preferences and enjoy art and culture from all different genres, though I'm probably drawn to experimental types of art more often than not. People pushing the envelope and putting their heart into their work. I particularly love indie film, Chinese filmmakers like Wong Kar-Wai, I love electronic music including techno, and I'm a big fan of mad genius writers like William Boroughs and Charles Baudelaire.
