ABOUT ME

Hey, I'm Nicky and live in Leeds. I'm a bit of a hippy chick, who is outgoing and likes to have fun and meet new people.

I am an OT and work for an Early Intervention Service for young people with Psychosis. I enjoy this kind of work as it's challenging but rewarding and I get to meet lots of interesting people.

I love backpack travelling and been to India, Nepal, Mauritius, Morocco, Cayman Islands, America and many places in Europe. I travelled solo to Nepal and went on a 5 day trek in the Himalayas, paragliding and did a walking jungle safari.

I'm vegetarian and love animals and nature. I also love to party and go to lots of festivals.

I'm really good at adopting people, listening, caring, thinking of others, laughing, being silly, sharing, hugging, cooking, dancing, people watching, finding a bargain, slack lining, snowboarding, trying new things, being green, thinking deeply about the universe, wearing silly outfits, being sociable and independent.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I have couchsurfed in Mauritius which was great. I hope to couchsurf in Portugal this summer and also host sometime in the future.

Interests

I love many many things ....but can't remember them all. I like to be outdoors and one with nature. I like rustic & ethnic looking things. I love things which are handmade, especially handmade things from India!!! I love eating cake, coffee, different foods from aroud the world. I like photography and alternative films. I like interior design. I like colour and baggy harem trousers!! I like laughter and meeting new people. I enjoy chaos, crazyness, stillness & calm!!!

I love to go on weird adventures..... and like to be outdoors and be around nature. I like swimming in rivers, camping, fires, tipi and yurts, snowboarding, rock climbing, slacklining.

I enjoy holistic therapies, meditation, yoga, drama and self discovery / development.

I love dancing and enjoy a wide range of music, such as Gypsy, Balkan, Folk, Funk and Soul, 60's 70's, Psychedelic Rock, Reggae and Dub, Acid House, Classic House, Drum and Bass, Old Skool and anything else that gets me wiggle on.
