About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Currently in a year of wandering. I'm applying to medical school right now and want to take advantage of this next year to travel the world and try to immerse myself in different peoples' way of life... i view it as part of training to be a good doctor

ABOUT ME

Student on the medical school interview trail. This is my first time trying out couchsurfing and am excited for it so that I can get a better, more personal sense of the cities I might end up in than I would get in a hotel! Also, i'm trying to control my expenses, but please let me cook you a dinner!

I do a lot of outdoor activities (camping, hiking, backpacking, biking, rock climbing, water sports, you name it and I'll try it), love to play music (started as a jazz bassist but am open to all genres), pretty decent cook i think and love to experience regional culinary specialties. And traveling!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Unfortunately, I do not have a solid residence right now that I can offer up for hosting but I am on the search and once I get there, I'd love to host travelers.

All I can offer at this point is my company and conversation, plus a love for cooking food for hosts!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This is my first time doing couchsurfing through the internet, but most of my traveling has been spent on various people's couches (either friends or friends of friends). I've heard great thing about the people who participate here and am excited to join the community.
