I cycled through europe on my bicycle with a tent for 4 months and drove my old 4x4 up africa for 4 months and my favorite part of all trips is the people you meet and the places and things you learn about.

I've been in Cape Town for 2 months, before I lived in England and travelled for a while prior to that and I like to meet people and totally agree with the idea that everything is borrowed on earth and we are all visitors so why not just share...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Met loads of friends and people through meetups, only stayed on two couches myself but have used warm showers a lot (kinda the same thing but for cycle travelers)
