I'm a doctor in the UK normally bit I love to travel. Especially by bike. This year (2014/15) I'm on a cycle from London to Singapore on a bike which I built myself out if Bamboo. At the time of writing this profile I've made it to Uzbekistan. I cycled with a friend through France, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Montenegro, Albania, Greece, Turkey, Georgia, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan. Next we intend to go to Tajikistan and the Pamir highway. Then into China, then Nepal, India, Burma, Thailand, Malaysia and finally to Singapore.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Until now I have been travelling with a friend (Tom Roberts, username: Auld reekie) and we have used his couchsurfing and warmshowers accounts to find hosts. We had had many great experiences and met great people. Unfortunately he has injured himself and is unable to cycle for a while so I am going it alone and setting up my own account.

When I get home I'd love to return the generosity that people have shown me on the road. There is lots to see in Scotland!
